Free engagement photo shoot
A chance for us to meet and talk through your big day and for you to get used to being behind the camera. Some people like to pose and some don't, so it's important for me to get the balance just right for you and to know what you want from me ahead of your big day. Don't worry if you want to save the photography for your big day I can still come and chat with you and show you some printed albums and talk about all the details.
Full coverage on the day
Plenty of time to get the whole day covered so that your album can show the full story from getting ready in the morning through to the first dance and beyond.
High Resolution Images
Images that you'll be able to keep and be in full control of printing, allowing your favorite memories from your big day to be shared amongst friends and family. The files will be big enough to print poster size should you so wish!
Design of album & printing
Included for all my wedding clients is for me to design your wedding album. I keep them simple and modern and currently use Blurb to have the high quality professional standard books printed. I design the book based on what I think are the best 200 or so images and they tend to be up to 90-100 pages long. You get to preview your book online first and then you will have final say on what images are used before you order it. Click here to see some books I have designed. I will also be able to show you how good they look in print when we meet to discuss your big day.
Post production of images.
Digital photography means that all the classic darkroom techniques, which used to take up many hours of trial and error for just one image, are now at our fingertips on a computer. This means that I can enhance your entire collection of photographs to make your images look as good as the memories you hold. I do spend a considerable amount of time after your big day compiling and editing your images. Making the colours just right and the faces as bright as the smiles upon them. I tailor my editing to suit your wedding style. For Lisa & Darren it was a more traditional approach and for LeeAnn & Phil things needed to look very modern and sleek while only a vintage feel would do for Kristen & Heather. A typical collection can be from 250 to 500 images. As soon as your images are ready I can put them online in a secure gallery for you to view on the web and proof them right away, but of course you'll get a disc with them all on too.
I will cover your whole day from getting ready in the morning through to after your first dance for £600 within a couple of hours drive from Manchester. I am willing to travel further but extra charges may apply.
