The National Wedding Show
It’s that time again for me to spend a weekend meeting couples planning their weddings. The National Wedding Show is one of the biggest wedding fayre’s around. They get thousands of couples, who are planning their weddings, through their doors to meet some great suppliers. Including photographers of course!
Last year it was at Manchester Central (G-Mex) for both the spring and autumn show but this spring sees the combination of two shows and a new location at EventCity, also in Manchester. My stand has developed a little at each show. The main reason being, to make it a little easier to set up each time. With all that furniture, it’s a bit like moving house!
The header image (also at the bottom) is from spring 2016 and the image of me is from autumn 2016. The time-lapse video below is from today as we were setting up for the spring 2017 show! Moments after I finished recording it, the camera and lens crashed to the concrete floor as it wasn’t secured on the tripod properly. So it’s not been the best of days. I’m still waiting to hear when it can be repaired and if my insurance covers it. (If you’re reading this and I’m doing your wedding soon, don’t worry, I have two and I already have a replacement lined up for the spare!) It can only get better from here. I can’t wait to meet some lovely couples and hear about their exciting wedding plans at The National Wedding Show this weekend.
