Rowton Castle Wedding Photography
Ailsa and Jason had some amazing weather for their wedding at Rowton Castle. Which was good because the plan was to have their ceremony outdoors. It’s always a gamble with the English weather though, so you should never pin all your hopes on an outdoor ceremony! But when it happens it can be so lovely. Rowton Castle is in Shropshire and is set in 17 acres of tranquil grounds, with English walled gardens, beautiful woodland and hidden pools, this makes it a great choice for your outdoor wedding photography.
Wedding Photography at Rowton Castle
A Beautiful Day
The day started off with Ailsa getting ready in the coach house and Jason was in one of the Castles’ more traditional rooms in the main hotel. It’s an amazing place to have your own fairy tale wedding and to get stunning photographs of your big day too. Ailsa and Jason certainly sounded pleased with their photographs! I had an absolute blast shooting the two of them and all their guests in a natural unobtrusive way.
Thank you!
Ailsa had this to say about her Wedding Photography
“We just wanted to send across a huge thank you for the amazing photo’s. They are fantastic and certainly capture everything we wanted to remember from the day”
Their guests were certainly up for a good party later on. I always stay a little while after the first dance, to make sure I capture some of the fun on the dance floor. One highlight for me was when they tried to fit the entire wedding party in the photo booth! They almost did, but not quite. They definitely had fun trying and you can see how full it got below! Oh, and the impromptu break dancing was quite a treat too!
If you’re going to invite your dog to join you at your wedding, I’m all for that. Be careful though, because like this pooch, some like to jump up! Muddy paws on your wedding dress is not the best of looks. Ailsa was careful and managed some canine kisses without the paw prints! If you’re planning to get married at Rowton Castle, indoors or outdoors, then I’d love to here from you.
