Best of 2022 (mostly)
Joy, Romance & Fun
So it looks like it’s been three years since I did a ‘best of’ post, or any kind of reflection of my work. The pandemic wasn’t great and for extended periods during the last few years, I didn’t feel very connected to my work. As the snow, ice and ridiculously expensive gas bills usher us into 2023, I feel different. I have, dare I say it, optimism! I certainly feel connected again to what I do and looking back through all my work from the last three years to curate this post, has certainly helped! For a start I think my editing has evolved and improved, and the same core feeling of joy, romance & fun still shines through my wedding photos.
Creativity Evolving
The part of my work that has definitely got stronger, is my ability to capture a layered composition. Those photos that have a lot in them. When captured well they tell a complex story and when composed well too, they can just be so pleasing to my eye. There’s a lot of photos here so I’ll keep the chat brief and let you see what you make of this little collection of my favs from the amazing weddings I got to be a part of since 2020.
