Best of 2016
2016 was a complete roller-coaster wasn’t it? Despite the sadness and turmoil felt by many last year, it actually turned out a very positive one for me. The major reason for that being that I left my day job to do wedding photography full time. I absolutely love what I do. And I have the opportunity to do it full time now. I can give it the attention it deserves, which is fantastic. A big shout out to all the couples who have invited me to their wedding day so far, because without them all trusting me to capture their wedding memories, I wouldn’t be where I am now. I truly am grateful. I got to attend, and photograph, some amazing weddings and couples in 2016. The year ahead is already shaping up to be my busiest yet, with some very exciting times ahead. I also got to travel a bit last year too, but I’ll do a separate post about that.
Some of my favourites
I’m here now to bring you a round up of my favourite wedding images from the last year, well that’s not strictly true… While these are mostly from the past year, I have been back a little further since I’ve never done any sort of round up, review or even selected photos for a ‘portfolio’ as such before! This is totally new for me and I feel like I’ve learnt quite a bit from going through my work to select these photos. These are just my favourites though, and just part of the story of each of these great weddings. While it’s been great to look at some of the stand out images, I really think I excel at telling a complete story of the whole wedding day, so be sure to check out the weddings section to see some of the individual stories too.
