Sadie and Andrew had a beautiful wedding amid the idyllic and picturesque landscape of the Lake District at the Grange Hotel.

A perfect start to the day…in the pub

Bridal preparations were in full swing when I arrived at The Ship Inn, the bride’s family home, with the bunting out to celebrate the big day. A classic bright red Pontiac was waiting outside the pub to whisk the bride off to the church in style. I also managed to capture some great shots of the Groom and his groomsmen as they were getting ready at the Grange Hotel.

Following a traditional service at Holy Trinity Church in Colton, it was on to the Grange Hotel in Grange-over-Sands. The hotel is situated in a captivating setting, overlooking the bay with views out to sea.

The hotel, built in 1866 in a graceful neo-Italianate style was full of beautiful features both inside and out. The terraced gardens had panoramic bay views and the grounds incorporated mature woodland. A perfect backdrop for capturing some beautiful photographs of the happy couple and their guests.
