Mitton Hall Wedding | Lauren & Mark
A Day Full of Emotion
It was hard not to feel the emotion playing out in front of me while I was shooting Lauren and Mark’s wedding photography, earlier this year at Mitton Hall. They both got ready at the venue and a little careful co-ordination was required so they didn’t bump into each other before the ceremony!
I think it’s quite clear from all the tears you can see in the photos what a heart felt day this was. And what about the boy giving the reading? That really got me right in the chest, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house or a soul not willing him through his beautiful reading. Tears continued (some of which were mine) through the vows and the rest of the ceremony too.
The typical northern rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Despite the rain we did still manage to sneak outside for a great confetti moment and some portraits too. Mitton Hall has some lovely gardens so you don’t have to go far to get a great backdrop and landscape for your wedding photographs.
Wedding Photography at Mitton Hall
This wedding venue is the perfect romantic setting to tie the knot. Bright skylights and large windows bring floods of beautiful light into the main room. Through the windows of this 15th century manor house are views stretching across the Ribble Valley. Mitton Hall is part of the James’ Places group of venues and is just near Whalley in Lancashire. It’s set in stunning countryside. The staff at Mitton Hall are brilliant and will help any wedding or event here be a complete success. 18 gorgeous bedrooms can provide ample accommodation for all your guests. It’s both historic and contemporary so the best of both worlds. If you’re planning to get married here and you would like to talk to me about your Mitton Hall Wedding Photography.
