Styal Lodge Wedding Photography | Steph & Craig

I had the pleasure of photographing Steph and Craig’s gorgeous wedding at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. Styal Lodge is a family-run purpose built venue set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. The lodge is set within the grounds of Styal Golf Club but remains very private and intimate. A perfect setting for your wedding photography.

The Bridal Room

I started the day with Steph and her bridesmaids in the purpose built Bridal Room at Styal Lodge. The room is so spacious and light and has the added bonus of overlooking the gorgeous gardens. No detail has been overlooked and every aspect of the bridal room, and the rest of the lodge for that matter, has been considered with a wedding in mind. It really does lead to a relaxed and stress-free environment, exactly what you need on your wedding day.

A perfect blank canvas

The lodge is a perfect blank canvas for your special day. Every aspect of the finishing touches can be bespoke to your taste and allows for you to create a unique wedding. The room looked stunning, filled with fairy lights draped from the ceiling along with beautiful flowers from JN Flowers of Manchester.

A relaxed and intimate venue

After the ceremony, we headed out for a confetti shot and group photographs. As you get exclusive use of the lodge and its perfectly manicured gardens, it provides a great setting for relaxed and intimate photographs of you and your wedding party. The gardens are blessed with a stunning lake where I managed to get Steph and Craig alone for a few shots dowm by the jetty. There is the added bonus of using a golf buggy to whizz down to the lake. You don’t get that at many weddings!

After the photographs outside, we headed back into the lodge which had been transformed for the rest of the day’s celebrations. There is plenty of space for up to 150 guests along with a huge dance floor for you to break out some moves and dance the night away.
